Background.
Welcome to Zaren’s Hollow! Fleeing a forgetfulness disease - the Olvidarus Virus or O-virus - the alchemist Zaren led the townsfolk from his village deep into the wilderness. For all they know, society has collapsed. They’ve had no visitors in the time since they fled, and have been too afraid to venture out and explore.
Luckily, Zaren’s skills led to a cure: bookies, magical book-shaped treats that people consume to regain their knowledge. You play as Zaren’s son, carrying on his legacy of making bookies to restore the community’s memories after his disappearance. You’ll need to listen closely to the villagers that come into your shop and deduct the bookie that’s right for them, in order to unlock their memories and discover incredible stories about the world before the pandemic.
